There’s another new face on the Practical Caravan fleet, a Skoda Superb, writes Alyson Warnock. Ours is the four-wheel-drive model in SE trim, which includes alloy wheels, climate control, cruise control and rear parking sensors all as standard. The Skoda’s kerbweight is 1647kg with an 85% match of 1400kg so most family caravans can be towed safely. The 170bhp diesel engine pulls reliably, producing 258lb.ft of torque from less than 2000rpm.
