Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro was £1,099 now £619
- Weight: 11.5kg
- Capacity: 1002Wh
If I had the payload for it, this would probably be the portable power station I’d be buying in the Prime Day sale, with a huge 44% saving to be enjoyed on the Explorer 1000 Pro at the moment. Providing a capacity of 1002Wh, it’s able to charge seven devices at the same time, and has a good selection of ports, thanks to its two AC ports, two USB-A ports, two USB-C outputs, a car port and both an AC and DC input. One of my favourite features is the way it can go into standby for more than 365 days from a 100% charge, according to Jackery – this would make it ideal as a backup domestically too. It’s currently reduced to only £619.

Bluetti EB3A was £269 now £199
- Weight: 4.6kg
- Capacity: 268Wh
The EB3A is a good entry-level portable power station, one that deputy editor Paul Critcher was impressed by when he tested it. The performance and simplicity particularly stood out to him. There is a good range of ports, with a 12V socket, two 12V DCs, two USB-As, a USB-C and a 240V AC/600W port all provided, along with wireless charging for phones. As well as this, a DC input and AC input port are both to be found. The handle should ensure its 4.6kg weight is simple to transport around too.

EcoFlow River 2 Max was £449 now £269
- Weight: 6kg
- Capacity: 512Wh
One of my favourite Prime Day deals is for the River 2 Max, which is currently available with a 40% discount, bringing it down to £269. Weighing 6kg, it has a good selection of ports, with a USB-C port, three USB-A ports, two AC sockets, a DC socket and a DC5521. However, if you need more USB-Cs, it could be worth considering one of the Jackery options in our guide. The battery is impressively quick to charge up, reaching a full charge in an hour. It has a capacity of 512Wh and, if you’re interested in a solar panel, is also available in a bundle with a 160W solar panel for £498, a £140 Prime Day saving.

Jackery Explorer 300 Plus was £319 now £223.30
- Weight: 3.75kg
- Capacity: 288Wh
I think there’s a lot to like about this 288wh capacity option, in part due to the two USB-C ports it provides. It has an output of 300W, while it should have a good lifespan courtesy of its LiFePO4 battery. That’s not all – weight will always be an important consideration for caravan owners and this only comes to 3.75kg, with its handle making it highly portable. Other sockets include an AC socket, one USB-A port and a car port.

- Weight: 3.7kg
- Capacity: 256wh
This is another lightweight option for caravanners to consider, coming in at 3.7kg. Currently only £149, it’s got one less USB-C port than the Jackery above, but has two USB-A ports instead. Other options are an AC port and a car outlet. A capacity of 256Wh is provided, while the handy screen will ensure it’s straightforward to tell what the battery level is.
