Grantham’s, the family-owned East Midlands dealership, has opened a new temporary awning display showroom.
The best caravan awning can make a significant difference to a touring experience, whether it’s to provide more living space or a bit of extra storage. Now, those on the hunt for one of these caravan essentials can browse Grantham’s temporary display.
Positioned at the front of the site, the new awning display showroom marks a significant upgrade from the previous outdoor setup, expanding the display from four awnings to 15.
With the majority of the display housed indoors, the facility allows customers to browse and compare awnings all year-round, whatever the weather.
This new space represents a key step towards Grantham’s long-term vision: the creation of a multi-purpose building that will feature a new sales area, an expanded awning display and accessory shop, upgraded office facilities, a dedicated service reception, an indoor showroom, and a welcoming café.
Grantham’s Director Bob Evans said: “This new facility is all about continuing to raise the bar for our customers. Having more awnings on display gives people the chance to properly explore the products before they buy, which we know adds real value to their experience. We’re proud to be investing in our site, our team, and the wider industry. This phase not only enhances what we can offer customers, but also creates new opportunities for employment in the local community.”

Other recent industry news has seen caravan brand Buccaneer split its ranges into two for the new season. These include the Starliner range of tourers, which come with an MTPLM of 2200kg, and the Skyliner range, which come on a 2000kg chassis.
