A caravan cover is a crucial piece of touring kit: without one, your caravan is likely to be fully exposed to the elements. That means leaving it vulnerable to birdlime, sap and more, which could damage the bodywork and also affect its resale value when the time comes. I stumbled across this Maypole Caravan Cover, which is currently on Black Friday sale for a price that’s lower than at any point during the past three months.
The green, breathable material should help prevent condensation from building up, and the cover has an elasticated bottom to help it fit better.
I’ve chosen a cover suitable for 5.6-6.2-metre caravans here, but other sizes of this model are available.

Maypole comes up trumps again in Amazon’s Black Friday deals, with this caravan-top cover that I found selling for a discount of 15%.
It sits on your caravan roof to help protect against everyday muck and grime, and is easy to secure thanks to the adjustable straps. The latter feature hooks on the end, so are simple to affix to the bottom skirt of your caravan.
Handily, a storage bag is also included for when the cover is not in use.
Quest Caravan Cover Extra Large (19-21ft) £204 now £160 (save 22%)
Triple-layer fabric is used in the construction of this dark-green cover from Quest, which I found at a great price on the Ultimate Outdoors website.
As well as being breathable, the fabric also provides UV protection, and it has reinforced and durable straps to help keep it secure when fitted.
A carry bag is included for storage when the cover isn’t in use, and – pleasingly – you’ll also get a hitch cover in the package, too.
