The lovely village of Betws-y-Coed – which is particularly popular with walkers, keen to tackle nearby routes – is just a short stroll from the eight-acre Riverside Touring Park, which is affiliated with the Caravan Club. That means you’re also close to plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, perfect for enjoying a meal out in the evening. Further afield are the historic attractions of Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Caernarfon Castle.

Back at Riverside, the facilities are top-notch: they include luxury washrooms, electric hook-up to the all-weather pitches, Wi-Fi (for a fee), an accessories shop, a fully equipped launderette and a motorhome service point. There’s also a baby-changing and family room for those travelling with children.

Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide 2016:

“All the facilities were immaculate and the staff were very approachable and helpful. We have never stayed on a cleaner site. We realised why the site is always full!”

“The best thing about this site is the location, but the facilities are second-to-none. Moreover, the staff are always friendly and welcoming.”

“Clean, well set-out pitches with plenty of room and a fantastic location. Lots of walks, and dogs are welcome. There’s also a shop with any items you might need.”
