Tyddyn Llwyn is a hugely impressive site: it’s featured in our Top 100 Sites Guide every year since 2012, and makes it as a finalist again for 2017.

It just keeps getting better: it’s set across 18 acres, and the facilities – including all-weather touring pitches, park-wide Wi-Fi access (a charge applies), a licensed bar and grill, and a secondhand book exchange – are some of the best that you will find in the country.

Walkers will be in their element with the many paths nearby, giving access to the glorious countryside. Attractions include the popular Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Narrow Gauge Steam Railways, and the harbour town of Porthmadog.

Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide:

“The staff are always friendly, approachable and helpful. I camp on my own and I feel very welcome and safe at Tyddyn Llwyn. The fantastic facilities are always clean and tidy. I just love the place… and so does my dog!”

“Extremely well-set-out, clean and tidy. We waited three years for a seasonal pitch here. Our awning on the seasonal pitch kept collecting rain and collapsing; the warden kept an eye on it when we were not there, and even checked it in the early hours during a very rainy night, installing additional poles for support. That is what I call five-star service!”
